Oxford Publishing Society
OPuS began in 1997 as a way to bring together the publishing community of Oxford to mix, mingle and debate the current issues in the industry.
OPuS approached Non-Zero to create a website to display event information. We delivered a full content management system tailored to the needs of the society allowing them to keep the site fully up-to -date themselves as well as provide speaker notes, venue information, talk reviews and presentations all through the web-based interface and without any technical knowledge.
The OPuS site also focuses heavily on keeping members in touch with the society, a Tell a Friend facility encourages members to share event information with others who might be interested and a Newsletter facility allows the OPuS team to send event information to subscribers.
Standards compliance, ease of navigation and quick access to information are all key features of the site.
Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch
Welsh poet Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch already had a website when she came to Non-Zero, but there were two main problems with it, she was unhappy with the design and she was unable to update information on the site herself.
We worked with Samantha to decide upon a look and feel that echoed the themes of her writing. At the same time we developed a content management system that allowed Samantha to easily make changes to the content.

Oxford Stunt Factory
The Oxford Stunt Factory required a site to showcase their expertise at coordinating and performing extreme sports stunts for the TV and film industries.
The site also needed to show the other activities in which the OSF partakes in order to attract new members to join.

Minuteman Press
Minuteman Press is a small printing firm offering business stationery.
A clean and professional design was chosen to reflect Minuteman Press's design ethos. A simple e-mail submission system was implemented to allow for quote applications to be made online.
Wadham College Boat Club
Wadham College Boat Club is a prestigious Oxford boat club.
A complete club management database was implemented allowing the club members to organise training plans and events, keep member information up to date, chat online and keep up to date with the latest changes through an email system.

Futons Direct
Futons Direct already had a website when they approached non-zero. However they weren't getting as many customers as they wanted due to customers not finding them in the search engines.
Non-Zero evaluated the site and made some changes made some changes which resulted in a position of third on Google for the keyword 'futons'.

We are currently designing and building a new website for Futons Direct. The new site will have an updated design and will be database driven allowing Futons Direct to add & remove products and change prices themselves.
